Orders & Payments

Yes. Buying pieces together as a set is where the savings sit. The Family Flow Bundle includes two or three bottles at up to 25 percent off, which is ideal for gifting or sharing the ritual with people you love. The Essential Ritual pairs a bottle and tumbler and saves you $53, while the Complete Ritual gathers jug, bottles and tumblers for the whole household. You also get free delivery on every order regardless of size.

It depends which one you choose. The Starter Ritual includes a bottle and two tumblers, so you have copper water on the go and by the bed. The Daily Ritual Set pairs a bottle with a copper cup. The Essential Ritual brings a jug, two bottles and two tumblers together. The Complete and Heritage Collections gather more pieces again for a whole household. Each product page lists exactly what is in the box.

Each piece has its place. The bottle is for your bag, desk and car, so you have copper water on the go. The jug lives on the bench so the whole household drinks copper water through the day. The tumbler is ideal on the bedside for your overnight rest, ready to sip first thing in the morning. Together they let you drink copper-rested water everywhere rather than passing a single bottle around.

You can, but buying the set together is usually the better call. Every piece shares the same food-grade pure copper and hammered finish, so nothing looks mismatched on the bench and the water tastes identical from piece to piece. Buying together means one delivery instead of several, a saving over buying separately, and no gap in your day where the jug rests water your bottle can drink but the table cannot.

Product Questions

Yes. Every CopperBloom piece is made from food-grade pure copper, not a cheap plated or painted alloy. A quick way to check any copper item at home is the magnet test: a magnet will not stick to pure copper, so it slides straight off. You can also feel the difference in the weight and wall thickness, and over time genuine copper develops a natural patina that painted or plated lookalikes simply cannot.

It genuinely makes a difference. Pure copper is naturally antibacterial, which is known as the oligodynamic effect, and it is why copper has been used as a drinking vessel for thousands of years across Ayurvedic and traditional cultures. As water rests inside for several hours, a small amount of copper ions transfers into the water, and it pours out noticeably cleaner, softer and crisper than water from plastic or stainless steel.

This is the traditional practice known as tamra jal. As water rests in pure copper for several hours, a tiny amount of copper ions transfers into the water through the oligodynamic effect. Copper is naturally antibacterial, so this may gently reduce certain microbes in the water and gives it a noticeably softer, cleaner taste. Fill your vessel at night, let it rest overnight, and pour a smooth first glass in the morning.

When water rests in pure copper overnight, it comes out noticeably cleaner, crisper and smoother than water from plastic or stainless steel, without the stale plastic odour or tinny stainless edge. This is the basis of tamra jal, a centuries-old Ayurvedic tradition of resting water in copper. Most people taste it the very first morning, and after a week of daily use the copper piece quietly becomes the one you reach for over all the others.

In Ayurvedic tradition, copper water has been valued for thousands of years and is traditionally said to support digestion, hydration and general wellbeing. We are careful not to overpromise here, so we frame these as traditional beliefs rather than medical claims. What we can say plainly is that the water tastes softer and cleaner, which for most people means they simply drink more of it. If you have a medical question, please check with your GP.

Our bottles and travel lids use a silicone seal that screws down tight, so they travel happily in a handbag, a car cup-holder or beside you at your desk. Keep the piece upright, screw the lid on firmly, and stick to plain water. Jugs and open tumblers are designed for the bench and bedside rather than for carrying, so they become part of your home rather than something to pack. Our jugs also pour cleanly through a neat spout without dribbles.

Larger sets suit a household rather than a single sipper. With bottles, jugs and several tumblers, there is a vessel for each person and a spare for guests. If it is just you, a single bottle or a Starter Ritual may be plenty. But if the whole house is switching off plastic and steel, a Complete or Heritage set outfits everyone at once, with the jug resting overnight, bottles for the day and tumblers for the table.

Very. Each piece is fully reusable and made from a natural material, so switching to copper means leaving single-use plastic behind for good. One CopperBloom bottle can replace hundreds of disposable ones over its life, and copper lasts for years with simple care. It is a small daily swap that quietly adds up over time, both for your habits and for the amount of plastic you never have to throw away.

Care & Use

Before your very first use, rinse the inside with a little lemon and warm water to prime the surface. Then fill it at night, let the water rest for around six to eight hours, and drink a glass first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Top it up when it runs low and keep a tumbler at your desk or bedside if you have one. That single quiet step is the whole ritual.

Around six to eight hours is the sweet spot, which is why most people fill their vessel at night and drink it first thing in the morning. That rest time is not just tradition, it is chemistry: the oligodynamic effect needs still water and contact time so the copper can release enough ions and charge the water. Shorter rests of an hour or two still give you clean, great-tasting water, just with less time for the full effect.

Hand wash only with lemon and warm water, then dry it well and leave the lid off to air. It is not dishwasher safe, since harsh detergents and heat strip the copper, and please avoid bleach or other harsh chemicals. A quick lemon rinse every week or two keeps the inside bright and the taste crisp. The whole thing takes a minute, and a well-cared-for piece keeps performing for years.

Keep it to plain still water, which is exactly what copper does best and what the overnight rest is for. Avoid carbonated, acidic or citrus drinks like juice and soft drink, and avoid hot drinks, because acidity and heat react with copper too aggressively and pull more from the surface than you want. Fill it with fresh water at night and pour it clean in the morning. That is the ritual it was made for.

That soft patina is completely normal and is actually proof you have real copper rather than a painted or plated fake, since pure copper develops character over time the way a cast-iron pan does. It forms as the copper reacts naturally with air and water, and it does not harm you, affect the taste or reduce the benefit. If you prefer the bright finish, rub or rinse with lemon and a little salt, then rinse clean with warm water.
